Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located and do you shoot internationally?
I'm located in Springfield, Missouri: home of cashew chicken and Chappell Roan! I'm a 4 hour flight from each coast, and absolutely have a couple international bucket list locations I'm itching to check off!
What if there is bad weather for the elopement?
I'm gonna hold your hand when I say this... we will live. Your love is unique, your love is funny, your love is genuine. If weather happens on your day: it happens. We have umbrellas for a reason! Don't stress about the weather, we can't stress about things that aren't in our control. At least, that's what my therapist tells me.
How many images will we receive to download?
For couples/engagements, I send a minimum of 20 images in an online gallery where you can print and purchase to your heart's content. For weddings, I don't want to put a limit on how many photos you receive, so I offer a minimum of 150 images. Trust me, you don't need 2k images. That'll stress us both out. Quality over quantity, babe!
Do you offer help in the planning process?
I am absolutely honored and thrilled that you not only choose me to be your photographer, but I take pride in saying you can also count on me to be a resource for all things planning. With my vendor connections and experience, I bring more than photos to the table! Ask away. I am here to help!
How do your travel expenses work? Is there an additional fee?
Any session or elopement/wedding taking place outside of a 50 mile radius of Springfield will be charged a base $100 travel fee. If flights and lodging accommodations are required, the cost for those for each photographer will be added to the final invoice. I require that I make the booking myself so that, in case of emergency, I'm in possession of my plane ticket and/or lodging information.
